Before hitting the stage to open for Asher Roth and Kid Cudi on The Great Hangover Tour, 88-Keys took some time to talk with us about his new touring gig and a number of his future projects. Joining him at the show as a surprise guest was Toronto pop singer Colin Munroe, and the two debuted a new collaboration, put together for NBA Live 2010. In the video above, 88-Keys announces an even more ambitious forthcoming project by the pair: a full-length mixtape. Aside from this, 88 plans to work on new material with Blu, Talib Kweli, J.Davey and his current favorite band, The Morning Benders. Then he’s heading back into the studio to work on the follow-up to his stellar ’08 full-length, The Death of Adam.
