SINGLE ART: Drake - “Fear”

Above, artwork I put together for one of my favorite songs from Drizzy. The only new song off of the So Far Gone EP that came out this month. “Fear” is a strong closing tune that complements the original tone of the mixtape, and keeps with the personal insight we’ve expected from Drake.

Below, the inspiration for the artwork, partially stolen from the original single artwork (bottom right) and this other image comes from the Grain Edit e-blast from August 18th. I’ve saved the email in my inbox since then, and it features beautiful collage work by Cristiana Couceiro. Sure, it is a huge rip-off of her style, but I’m trying to use this as motivation for two things: post more songs, create more art. I have a new goal to do one of these ‘single art’ posts ever week, hopefully with diferent styles and music. We’ll see if can keep up.
