STRADA Black Friday Sale
Our good friends at STRADA Custom bikes have a can’t miss deal for Black Friday. Forget heading to the mall at 6am after a full day of Turkey, stuffing, pie, football and the most American thing of all: beer, and instead hit your computer. Starting at midnight, grab any of the preset Strada bikes for only $349. The perfect gift for the Hipster who has everything.
A few random selections from the last couple weekends. All taken on the Panasonic GF1. An excuse to play with the new gallery features.

Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival
A bit of the footage shot over Saturday in DUMBO, up now at The Volume
This past weekend marked the fifth annual Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, and despite an afternoon of intermittent rainfall, crowds showed up in droves throughout the eight-hour day to support their own. Check out our video for performance clips from Brown-Bag All Stars, Donny Goines and Tanya Morgan, along with more behind-the-scenes action, and read on for a recap.
Mixtape of the Week: Outasight From There to Here an album prequel
Mick Boogie jumps in to produce a new tape from one of my favorite unknowns of 2008. After checking this kid at the Brooklyn Bodega showcase for CMJ I quickly wanted to find out more and downloaded his last free album Radio. I’ve included a video post from Outasight and since then have seen him starting to get a little shine on the nmc blogs, mostly from 2dopeboyz.
As a prequel to his upcoming album, Outasight is releasing some of the obscure tracks from other project and some new remixes to Radio. If you aren’t familiar, its worth checking out. Highlights include a remix to ‘Radio, radio’ with a verse from Ced Hughes, and his Oddisee produced track ‘Exclusive.’
Stay tuned for more from this up and coming talent and download the tape here.
Track of the Day - Wale “Warwick Avenue” (feat Duffy)

Wale jacks Duffy’s track and makes it his own. I nice slow track for your recovery from the weekend. I’ll have more posts up later today but I wanted to make sure I at least got my audio track uploaded for the day. This track should be on Wale’s upcoming mixtape Back to the Feature, which is rumored to be a collaborative effort with beatsmith 9th Wonder. Sounds like a project to get excited about.
