Track of the Day - Kanye West “My Way”
An old favorite, featured on Kanye’s The Essentials mixtape. This mix came out right before The College Dropout and is still one I overplay. “My Way” features the original Kanye soul sample sound, and personally, I like it more than Jay-z’s “My Way” from the Blueprint 2.
The mixtape documents the begging of what has turned into one of the biggest Pop Stars of today. Other highlights include the original version of “Self Conscious” with the Lauren Hill, “Wanna Ride” ft Common and Ye’s remix of Dwele’s “Hold On.”

Track of the Day - Colin Munroe ft. 88-Keys “Last Cause” remix
My favorite artists from ‘08 jumps on the remix from Colin Munroe’s mixtape Colin Munroe is the Unsung Hero. The beat gives this song a great new vibe, and its nice to see 88-Keys staying busy.
Since I last posted a track so much great music has leaked out and been released, it was not easy to pick one track today. I wanted to give a bit of attention to two artists I’ve had on consistent rotation in my playlists. There are a handful of artists out that, when I see their names on a blog or up for a download I feel genuine excitement to listen. 88-Keys falls into that group, and Colin is becoming another true musician I look forward to continue checking.
